➋ Details of support: KRW 350,000 voucher provided once a year (excellent users will be recharged in July)

In 2021, excellent users of the lifelong education voucher will be recharged by an additional 350,000 won in July.

In 2021, there are 15,000 people eligible for lifelong education voucher use. Compared to the 8,000 people supported in 2020, it has been greatly expanded.

In addition, in 2021, in order to continuously expand lifelong education, an additional 350,000 won recharge opportunity will be granted to excellent users in July.

The results of the 2021 lifelong education voucher selection will be announced at the end of February.

The results of the selection will be posted on the website of the lifelong education voucher at the end of February and will be notified to the recipients via mobile phone or e-mail.

▶ 2021 Lifelong Education Voucher Application Qualifications and Target

1. Qualifications: ➊ Adults aged 19 or older who are receiving basic livelihood benefits, ➋ the next upper class, ➌ members of households earning 65% or less of the standard median income (120% or less of the standard median income for single-person households)

2. Check eligibility for application
– Through the administrative information sharing system and the information provided by the Health Insurance Corporation, we check whether the applicant for the lifelong education voucher has qualifications or meets the income standards.

– Recipients of basic livelihood security and the next upper class: Check whether they are eligible for support through the Ministry of Public Administration and Security’s administrative information sharing network
– Less than 65% of the standard median income: Check whether the median income is less than 65% of the health insurance premium levy by number of household members based on the 2020 Health Insurance Premium Income Determination Standard Table.
– For single-person households, income below 120% of the standard median income: KRW 2,109,000 based on income, and self-pay for health insurance is KRW 70,702 for employee subscribers and KRW 29,273 for local subscribers

 

▶ How to apply for the Lifelong Education Voucher

1. Application period: January 7 (Thu) 10:00 ~ January 29 (Fri) 18:00, 2021
– Depending on the scale of recruitment, there is a possibility of extension or early closing.

2. How to apply: You can apply online or at a nearby Lifelong Education Voucher-using institution.

➊ Online: You can apply online through the Lifelong Education Voucher website (www.lllcard.kr) or mobile web.

➋ In-person application: You can apply in person through the lifelong education voucher user institution.

– When applying for a visit to the user institution, you must go through the authentication process (mobile phone or i-PIN authentication). You can check the nearest lifelong education voucher user institution on the lifelong education voucher website.

 

▶ Lifelong Education Voucher user selection and notification

1. User selection: After confirming eligibility for lifelong education voucher application, users are selected based on the principle of priority selection.

– If the number of applicants within the same ranking exceeds the available budget, an online random lottery will be held.

2. Announcement of selected candidates: scheduled for the end of February 2021.
Notification of selection results: Individual notification will be made by the notification method written in the application form. (Writing, mobile phone text message, e-mail)

 

▶ Conditions for issuing a lifelong education voucher card

– Notification of lifelong education voucher selection (text, e-mail, written)
– You can be notified of the selection result through the notification method you selected when applying for the voucher, and you can also print it out through the Lifelong Education Voucher website (www.lllcard.kr).

– NH Nonghyup Bank (including Nonghyup and Livestock Cooperatives) account opening (in the name of the user)

 

▶ Lifelong Education Voucher Card Issuance Information

Those selected as lifelong education voucher users must obtain an NH Nonghyup card, and in order to issue the card, it is essential to open an account at NH Nonghyup Bank (including Nonghyup and Livestock Cooperatives).

In principle, if you do not have a voucher card, you cannot use the voucher service, so if you are decided and notified as a lifelong education voucher user, please get the card issued quickly.

1. Application by visit: NH Nonghyup Bank (including Nonghyup and Livestock Cooperatives)
Fill out and submit the application through the nearest branch after bringing the lifelong education pass selection notice and ID card → Receive the card by mail after confirming the issuer → Register to use the card

2. Online application: NH Nonghyup Bank (card.nonghyup.com)
After accessing the NH Nonghyup Card website, fill out and submit the lifelong education voucher card application form (card company form)
→ Receive card by mail after confirming the issuer by phone with the card company → Use the card

 

▶ How to use the lifelong education voucher and the period of use

1. Period of use: After receiving the lifelong education voucher card – August 31, 2021 (Tuesday)
– At the end of the period of use, any unused amount cannot be paid for and cannot be carried over to the next year.

2. How to use

– User institution: Used by organizations that have registered as lifelong education voucher users among institutions that implement lifelong education, such as lifelong vocational education institutes

– Where to use: Use of lifelong education courses opened by institutions that use lifelong education vouchers and the cost of textbooks and materials required for the relevant courses

 

– Find institutions using lifelong education vouchers

 

 

 

▶ Other precautions

Recipients of the 2021 National Scholarship 1st semester may be disqualified from lifelong education voucher support or restricted from participating in the next year’s project if duplicate benefits are confirmed.

After applying for a lifelong education voucher, if the card is not issued or not used within the deadline, participation in the next year’s project may be restricted depending on circumstances.

However, users who are unable to use the service due to personal circumstances and do not have a history of use may not be subject to penalty for the following year if the selection is canceled within 2 months from the date of selection.

Those who have been selected for preliminary selection in 2021 due to the exhaustion of the 2020 support fund can use the voucher from January 2021 without separate application.
